ABOUT THE ARTIST
With over 30 years’ experience, Carl Harris brings the best of innovative and creative talent to his work. Carl spent 10 years as a staff photographer for the Baltimore Sun, twice being named Maryland Press Photographer of the Year. During his time as a news photographer, Carl was also nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for his photography, and he received the International Fire Fighter’s Award for his photograph of firefighters in action. Carl Harris works in a variety of mediums, choosing the best one for each individual image. Whether it’s full color, black & white, sepia toned, or his newest medium, Giclee (ink bursts on canvas, pronounced ‘zhee-klay’), Carl’s talented vision brings each image to life.
